The GS LLS Regional Bushcare Workshop brought together volunteer Bushcarers and Landcarers from across Sydney. The themes of the day focussed on the value of volunteer bush regeneration, the experience, knowledge and expertise of volunteers, the longevity and long term commitment of many groups, and the need to pass on knowledge to ensure succession into the future.
The key note presentation was given by Dr Paul Gibson Roy from Greening Australia who discussed restoring Sydney’s landscapes, why it matters and how we might achieve it.
